Reference : White Pine Monographs
Last published in the 1940s, The White Pine Series of Architectural Monographs have returned with the recent printing of Volume XXVII, Number One. It was 1915 when the periodical made its debut to the architect and design community, whose purpose was to present vivid illustrations of wood construction incorporating the Pine species. The Series Monographs provided visual documentations of classical and unique applications, illustrated with crisp photography of the time with detailed editorial by well-respected American architects.
The Monographs became an industry favorite well in to the 1930s and 1940s, gaining readership across the country. They earned a valuable place in architectural literature, and for those fortunate enough, often can be found today preserved in libraries, homes and vintage book stores.
The revitalization of the Monographs brings all the beauty, various applications and reliable resources of Eastern White Pine to today's leading experts and industry consumers. It takes a glimpse of the past while keeping a pulse on the future! The re-birth issue features the following articles:
-
The King's Broad Arrow
-
Sheathing Techniques of Yesterday and Tomorrow
-
Behind the Stamp - Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association Sets the Standard
-
How One Company Reconstructs the Past Using Historic White Pine Monographs
-
